What are the relationships between crafts and contemporary art? we discuss the importance of crafts In dialogue with artists, critics and curators highlighting what is current in Brazilian art production.

Therefore, some of the central themes of this documentary are: the handwork, the choice of materials and how the knowledge is elaborated and transmitted. Based on conversations with artists that cross varied fields, we show the diverse ability in Brazilian production from crochet to audiovisual, from engraving, collage and sculpture with many other forms of artistic expression.

The reflections gathered indicate crafts are also a form of resistance against to a speedy world where objects are discarded too quickly. The intersection between crafts and contemporary art find a poetic and powerful criticism addressed a world overloaded by consumption.
